Malloc

Malloc is a minor character in Crystal Story II. He is the guardian of the Fire Crystal. At first, he doesn't trust D and company with it, and fights them to prove their worth. Later, Orrora states that Malloc was just playing with them.

Trivia

• Malloc's name might have deprived from the Ammonite god, Moloch. Moloch was an Ammonite god turned demon with the head of a cow and represented the destructive Sun. His worship involved sacrificing children via flames. These may have contributed to Malloc's ox-like horns and his duty as a fire guardian.
