Rita is the main antagonist of both Crystal Story I and Crystal Story II: War of the Shattered Sky. She is a witch with a tacky, villainous persona who wishes to control the Dargons by enslaving the Dargon King. She appears to be a secret operator to Z who she calls "Her king" and follows his orders. She claims to have been trying to enslave the Dargon King when encountering D for the last time. This is a ruse to trick D into killing the Dargon King, so they can keep the portal open to collect Dargon bones and create a new army and help Z get his revenge.

- Rita is most likely a parody of Rita Repulsa from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. Both are witches who were freed after imprisonment by their minions and the heroes have to foil their evil plans.
